Sugar free pudding?
Hi Everyone:
This is week two of phase one and I'm moving slowly down the scale. I had some wonderful advice from people here who have made things easier for me. I have a question about my nightly dessert, sugar free pudding made with splenda. The serving is 60 calories Calories from fat 10 Total Fat = 1.5 Saturated 1 trans = 0 Sodium = 180 mg Total Carb = 14 g Dietary fiber = 1g Sugar = 0 Sugar alcohol = 7g Protein = 2g Ingredients: Water, Xylitol, Modified food starch, cocoa processed with alkali, milk protein concentrate, contains less than 1.5% of hydrogenated vegetable oil (coconut and palm kernel oils), Salt, sodium stearoyl lactylate (for smooth texture), sodium alginate, sucralose and acesulfame potassium (sweeteners), natural and artificial flavor, artificial color. Should I omit this dessert? Is there another way I could have pudding, I've started to LOVE this dessert with a little low-fat cool whip. Any suggestions or feedback about this? Thanks in advance!!! ![]()

I think pudding for some reason is a no-no during Phase 1.... why don't you try no sugar added fudgsicles? They're great, and always satisfy me... or sugar-free jello w/ the Cool Whip.

I don't think it would be bad, but remember you should only have up to 75 calories a day in 'sweet treats'. The SF pudding seems low in fat and calories to me, so I say why not, as long as you don't go over your 75 calories.
