Doing pretty good today - even though I did have a low carb hot fudge sundae from that homemade ice cream place I am trying to stay away from. It was sooo goooddd!!! I'm also happy to report I'm down 1/2 pound from where I was this time last week. Maybe there will be an official loss in my future this week. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
Up early for a Firm work out and am busy drinking my water (yuck) and enjoying this morning's snack of cottage cheese and fruit. Ally - thanks girlie for getting us started! 5cats - Woohoo!! Congrats on being down 1.5 pounds!! Phase 1 always does the trick. I just love how we can slide back and forth between Phases when we need to.

hi Ally
![]() woohoo on the losses!! everyone is doing so great. Yesterday I made an anjustment. I was in a hurry before my scrapbook class and needed something filling and legal to hold me til after class til dinner. I had cooked some extra chicken the other night to have, but I guess DH got into it. I didn't have anything. So even though I'm on P1, I made a bowl of oatmeal w. peanut butter. It was so good and so filling. I didn't really want dinner when it was time. I know I really should have waited one more week to have the oatmeal, but at least I picked something that would be legal next week. The class also got me in later than usual for dinner, but I'm going back to not eating after 8. |

Do any of you drink protein shakes? I love having them for breakfast, and I'm aware they are not "whole foods", but if I just have one for breakfast and eat whole foods the rest of the time will this mess everything up? I bought a humongous tub of Isopure Chocolate Protein Powder and I don't want to waste it! $$$$ There is no sugar in it either. Whadda ya'll think?

Hi guys, everyone is doing great! I found out last night that me and sf pudding is not a good thing. I ate the whole package. It wasn't too bad calorie wise - 200 for the milk and 30 a serving for the mix, but I just couldn't keep away!!!
5cats - I know Denise makes her own shakes. They sound delish, you should ask her for recipes Lisa - yeaaaa! Another (half) pound gone. I get really sick of water too. Sometimes I have to add some flavor (a tablespoon of juice or a tiny bit of crystal light) just to get it down. MMMMM....lemon water actually sounds good. Marva - thanks for reminding us it's *already* been a week! I can't believe it. Shelf - good job with making good choices. I love old fashioned oats. Hi to everyone else. I'm trying to plan a menu right now... |
