Count calories on SB?

Hello all,
I tried SB a few months back and lost weight on Phase 1 but I think I may start back on Phase 2 this go around. Do any of you count calories in PH2?

Thanks in advance

Hi BeyondClueless,

We'd love to have you join us. We are proud of the support in the SBD forum and think you would like it.

The only thing we count calories on are:

SWEET TREATS
(Limit to 75 calories per day)

Candies, hard, sugar-free
Chocolate powder, no-added-sugar
Cocoa powder, baking type
Fudgsicles, no sugar added
Gelatin, sugar-free
Gum, sugar-free
Popsicles, sugar-free

This is in both Phase 1 and P2. There's a good food list stickie post above, both an updated P1, P2 and menus. Things that are limited are set out as such.

Enjoy, that's about it....

Marva

I have been counting to get an idea of what's happening and am surprised to find that I struggle to get over 1000 cals.

WOE: everything put in front of me
I've been using fitday to keep track. Not because we have to, but I'm curious to know how many calories I'm taking in daily. Like Barb, I'm finding mine are low most days. Plus fitday gives me a place to journal. And if I find this isn't oging to work for me (PCOS and IR makes it hard for me to lose on any plan) I will have something to take to the doctor's office.

Thanks for all the replies, only reason I asked is that I have a friend who counts ww points while she does SB but I see that a lot of you have lost weight without counting. Shelf I have PCOS also and I know how hard it is to lose!
