I finally got my ***** together and got a clean start today (Sunday)
I don't know why I sometimes get stuck in a such rut but I was for a while. I'm just glad I had such a good day today, I'm feeling good about the week, and didn't buy anything tempting at the store (like almond butter, which I *love* (probably waaaaay too much)) It's not like I even eat way off plan or anything - I hardly ever eat anything evil (sugar or flour), I just start feeling bad about my choices, and it's a total spiral that leads to more bad choices. I'm glad you guys are here for me during the good times and the bad. Welcome to all the newbies, and *waves* at everyone to come. |

Ally, I just wanna say I get the same way. Some weeks I will be going along perfectly (or what I think is perfect) and feeling so good and skinny, then something happens and I feel like crap and fat. Take this weekend. We ate at Benningans and I had a chicken caesar salad. I felt so guilty all weekend and I dont know why. I just kept thinking there was too much fat in the dressing. Stupid, I know but then I made a homemade banana cream pie and had 2 peices last night. Then I got into some SF chewy candy (made with Splenda). Even though they arent off plan, I shouldnt have had so many.
So today I start fresh with new attitude and good eating and exercising. We can do this!!! ![]()

Hi guys!
I'm checking in from the weekend. I actually did pretty good. My sisters and I ate at Ruby Tuesday's on Saturday night and I had a burger with a whole wheat wrap and mashed cauliflower with the lc cheesecake for dessert. On Sunday I went to my sister's graduation party and even though the fried chicken and mac and cheese was flowing, I ate beforehand and stayed OP. Even through the strawberry custard whipped cream cake I stayed strong so I'm proud of me for that! I saw two of my brothers that live out of state that I haven't seen since right before I started SBD and they hardly recognized me. That made it even easier to stick to plan. Right now I'm sipping on my water and plan to take a two mile walk at lunchtime. Ally - you and I are so much alike, it's scary sometimes! I totally understand what you are talking about. I don't eat off plan usually either but sometimes the choices I make make me feel like I'm cheating or headed for a binge and then I eat worse. Sometimes I feel like I'm sabotaging myself or trying to hurt myself with overeating too. Those are some scary feelings because they are feelings I used to have in my heavy days. There are certain foods that are on program that I don't eat specifically because they remind me of my binging days. I'm glad to hear you got it together girlie!Pom - having a good attitude at the beginnning of the week is always a great sign that you're back on track. I can't tell you how many times I've had ketchup on a burger and couldn't scrape it off or realized something had refined sugar or corn syrup in it after the fact and the guilt set in. What a bad feeling that is. Well, here we are at the start a of a fresh new week and I know we'll all do just great!

Yes, new week, and we're all going to do great!! I tried to eat OP as well as I could at the formal event. I had ordered roast beef, but when it came, the gravy was already on it. I switched with DH and his chicken. I'm pretty sure there was something yucky in the sauce, but i just tried not to eat too much of it. I ate a few pieces of squash, and the salad with bleu cheese. Fortunately the dessert bar was FAR FAR away, and i wasn't tempted at all!
We will all make good choices this week, keep up the exercise and feel great about ourselves...we should, because we've all lost weight doing some variation of LC, and now we're doing SBD and feeling great!!!

Glad you guys are talking about all of this stuff because I had wings this weekend. Trust me, they were a better choice than the other stuff on the menu, but I"m sure the sauce had sugar in it. Usually hot sauces don't but this one didn't taste quite right. What I love is that I don't have the feeling that I totally ruined everything, like I did when I did Atkins.

I just gotta say, in a moment of strength, I dumped the rest of my carton of SF ice cream!!! I did buy some lf, sf pudding mix and some 1% milk last night, and figured I could live without the evil sugar alcohols in the ice cream.

Well, today is day 1 for me. I royally screwed up last night when we went to a chinese buffet. I could have made smart choices, but I didn't.

Okay guys, I'm ready to join you! I had a wonderful weekend getaway with my hubby and we ate all sorts of naughty stuff! (there's a photo in the Team Coconut challenge if you're interested!) It was wonderful, but it's time to buckle down! I'm back on Phase 1 today for 2 weeks to lose the vacation weight and hopefully a few more. My goals are to eat clean, exercise daily, weigh weekly, and drink lots of water. I look forward to chattin' with you all each day as we shrink! Aren't we going to feel great for our Fourth of July picnics?? Yippeeee!
