starting today

I bought the book last night and started today.
I am amazed at the wide variety of foods to choose from.
I did atkins for years and I felt deprived a lot of the time. I hope this works for me during this last 13 lbs.

Mind if I join you guys??? Why do the weekends have to be so difficult I do so well during the week then hubby and oldest son are home from work and youngest son is home from school (last day of school is tomorrow actually) and all my hard work.......well you know the rest. I do love the SB diet though.....especially since you can now have milk I remember my first attempt at SB and the major leg cramps I had I've had none of those this time though Hope you all have a GREAT DAY!!!

This is a great forum. I did Atkins too but didn't lose as well and felt lousy. I lose much better on SB and I feel great. I hope you'll have the same results.

cocosmama, we're glad you're joined us too, jump right up on this beach and out of that sharky water! On the being home alone.....that's when "I used to be" my worst enemy but I do understand, these guys want their stuff...and it's a big temptation especially since we have to fix it........good luck!

Hi and welcome! I have about the same amount to lose as you! I started a few weeks ago after switching from Atkins, and I love the beach!! I started to lose, then went away for a weekend to a B&B with hubby and ate soooo bad!! So today I started Phase 1 for 2 weeks to undo any damage done on vacation and hopefully get the scale moving again. You're right about the food choices, the variety is wonderful!
