best drink to replenish electrolytes
its May and already in the 80s/90s here in Austin.. now it isnt gonna get any cooler for a long time.. (i am also doing this at 230/3pm where its the worst!)
Going to work I bike 3.5 miles about half of it is up hills.. by the time I get to work I'm so weak and dizzy.. Water just isnt gonna cut it when I am sweatin that much....... I tried it and I get get sick to my stomach and weaker.. What is the best think you would reccommend (besides buy a car or get a new job) the 7 miles home is GREAT its windy and cool enough where water works (and its 3 am LOL)

A friend of mine who does a lot of running told me once that the sports drinks were designed specifically for huge, muscular quarterbacks and not for people like you and I. According to her, your body will not absorb the minerals in Gatorade the way it is bottled. Instead, mix the drink with half (or 3/4's, I don't remember) water, or even better, just add some salt and a few tablespoons of OJ to a glass of water - that's basically all Gatorade is. Try a google search on homemade Gatorade and you'll find tons of information.
