Exercise Thread for Thursday, May 26, 2005
Hi everyone!
This morning I was feeling pretty lazy. I was supposed to do Super Cardio Sculpt but I opted out for a slighter short routine with Firm 3 Fat Blasting Cardio. I used heavier weights and it was a good work out. I noticed I didn't find it as hard with the heavier weights as I used to so all the jiggle free arms work outs must be paying off. Anyone else going to be exercising today? We'd love to know! ![]() |

lisa: great job on getting your workout in first thing in the morning!! well...you always seem to!
I woke up today feeling even MORE sore than I did yesterday!! Today I will be doing running and a chest circuit at the gym. Tomorrow since I have stuff going on in the PM, I will do the stadium again in the afternoon. Even though I'm really sore right now, I feel very motivated...of course I'm doing this for myself, but my friend designed this program for me, and so we constantly talk about working out, and he probably goes to the gym with me 4 out of 7 days as well. So anyway, it's just that extra push of motivation to not want to let him down. But the program has been challenging and fun so far... Everyone have a great workout today!!!

rola - I always love hearing about your work outs. I have gotten to the point where I look forward to feeling sore, I hope that doesn't make me a weirdo or anything. I do want to give the push-ups you mention you do a try. It will take me a while to build up to as many as you do in a day but I'm willing to give it a try!
At lunchtime, it was so nice that I went for a mile walk. It took me about 17 minutes and may not seem like much but before I started low carbing I would have taken a nap after a big carby lunch so I think this is something I would never have even attempted before. Progress! ![]()

lisa: i've also started to look forward to being sore. That stadium circuit yesterday was really hard, but worth it. Every part of my legs and butt are sore today, but it's definitely that good sore!!
you know, the first time I tried pushups, I did them on my knees, and i only did 5. i just gradually worked up from there!! ps - i need to buy some 10lb weights for home. I've been exclusively using 8lb ones for my free weights exercises, and i think that finally i need to upgrade! |

Hi Lisa- i have not big working out as much because we are so busy re modeling and I was hurt last week for about 10 days. finally feeling better. and hopefully will be back to the gym in the am and the rest of the week since hubby will be here for three days. i can get back in the swing of things.
