Exercise Thread for Wednesday, May 25, 2005

Good morning ladies!

I did Firm 4 jiggle free abs this morning. I just love love love this work out! Allie is the instructor and she works your abs in ways that are just fantastic. You feel sore for hours afterwards so you know it's working. I was looking at my stomach in the mirror last night and I could swear it seems almost conclave. Now don't get me wrong, I got a lot of flab on my abs but it's like when I stretch up and if I turn just to the right angle, I can see the definition in my abs! Woohoo!!!

Okay, what are you doing today to get your body one step closer to the healthy state you want it to be in?

Woohoo for you Lisa.. I have to get that video. I suck on abdominal work which means I never do it..LOL

Tonight--gym--hit the treadmill. I bought the book "Escape your shape" that they were talking about on the exercise board and am going to start reading it tonight walking on the treadmill. I have thumbed through it but cant figure out if I am hourshape or spoon.
Then onto some upper body weight machine training. I will be there a while tonight because I want to get my body reshaped...

zeraspride: great work on the abs!!! sounds like a great workout.

I did my Tae Bo bootcamp yesterday morning, then in the evening I did my upper body circuit, along with about 1.4miles of very light running. Just wanted to get a little more cardio in.

Today the weather is beautiful, so I will be doing the stadium circuit - but i have a meeting from 6-8, so i will just do my workout after that. In fact, I have stuff going on every night the rest of the week, so i will really have to try to get those morning workouts in....i don't want to miss out on a workout!!!

I am doing interval training from an MP3 I bought online five days a week on my cross trainer. Not sure if it's okay to post a link to his site. He doesn't sell anything LC, but I'll err on the side of caution anyway. It's only half an hour, but it kicks my a$$

Ok, i didn't want to risk not getting a workout in after my meeting, so I just got back from the stadium. My legs are jelly!!!

stairs - 3x
lunges around the track
other various leg raises - 50x
calf raises - 50x
running around track - 1x

4 rotations of this. i'm beat!! off to the shower...

Also, 50 pushups for me again, and tricep dips on my piano bench. It has turned into a really nice workout bench for me....perfect height for one arm rows, etc.

zeraspride: i do as many pushups as I can (usually ends up being around 20-25) and then take a tiny break to stretch, and then set into them again. Definitely the last 5 or so are total muscle failure time!!! Again, this is something I had to work up to. I started with just doing 10 in the beginning.
