I feel good... my MD suggested on increasing the compound T3 to 10mg.. and take the synthyroid every other day.. I have for 3 days and yesterday felt overstimulated..like i had too much coffee.. calling to today to advise i was cutting back to the 5mg.. previously prescribed.
Thanks for checking in.. |

I totally agree with you about the T3. I take Cytomel (25 mcg), and my dosage was increased by 5 mcg over time (Hashi's conversion problems), and my endo always warns me to watch for exactly the symptoms you experienced.
Too much T3 can be dangerous, and if you feel OK, far better to cut back. Your doctor's wanting to increase the dosage surprise me because my own endo won't do that unless my T3 is at the very bottom of the range--or doesn't register at all because it's so low. |
