Craving Subway 12" black forest ham sub

Subway is walking distance from my house and only $5 for a 12" black forest ham sub . on an Italian Parmesan bun, every single veggie except for cucumbers and pickles - yummy melted pepper jack cheese, black forest ham, tomatoes. lettuce, spinach, onions, olives, jalapeno peppers, banana peppers, chipotle west spicy dressing, wow I miss eating their subs so much.

Hmmm... chipotle sauce recipe maybe I can do this substituting for the sugar.
Google: Top Secret Recipes | Subway Chipotle Southwest Sauce Copycat Recipe

Sorry to ramble - typing this helps me not to go there and get a huge sub with tons of carbs. Wow, I thought I was getting over most of the carb cravings. I guess not.

Have that exact sub, but as a salad, even with the melty cheese. How does that sound?

Subway makes every sub into a salad, no need to even get the bread.

If your Subway does breakfast, you may be able to get them to do a breakfast bmt without the flatbread. Mine will do that for me.

I would have the sub as my 1 free high carb meal maybe every other 2 weeks...but then right back on track ....or I would have all the stuff with no bread for my LC daily meals...

We actually do this in everyday restaurants all the time - if a sandwich sounds really good we ask them to leave off the bread and put it on a salad. It takes some explaining and sometimes it's wrong, but it's a great salad option other than what's normally on the menu.

Subway will do huge salads of every single sub. I often get the steak and cheese as a salad and can only eat less than half for lunch. Do double meat and cheese, since they put tons of veggies in it.

Salads are a good option; I also have Great Low Carb Co bagels and Josephs pitas in my fridge at home. When we go to Subway, I have them stack all my sandwich ingredients in a salad bowl, just like they go on he sandwich. When we get home, I put them on a bagel or pita. Yum!

Yes, enjoy just tell them you don't want the bun. I do this often at restaurants and fast food places. There must be more lc people out there because I've never had a problem with it....sometimes they even offer to add a little extra side of lettuce/tomato or slaw.

I sometimes get a cheesesteak and ask him to put it in a platter without bread. When I order a double quarter pounder with cheese plain, I don't bother to say no bread, I just throw it away and eat it like a sandwhich.

it depends where I am ordering from but most restaurants and deli's dont have a problem with removing the bread and making it a platter. Sometimes they question it like I'm crazy but as soon as I say I'm on no carbs, it all makes sense to them.
