Nutritional info on cheese crisps
I really enjoy the crackers made out of the shredded cheese, but I wonder about the nutritional information. The only info I've found is just for the straight cheese, but so much fat cooks out of the crackers. Any ideas on how that affects the counts, or how to refigure them?
I track calories and carbs so I'm at a loss on how to count these.

There's no way that you can analyze them and they all come out a bit different. I find that sometimes very little fat comes out and other times I get a lot. I would just use the count for the cheese in its uncooked state.
The scary thing about cheese crisps is that it's so much easier to eat several ounces worth of cheese made into crisps than I would ever eat of regular cheese cut off the block. For that reason I rarely make more than one or two crisps at a time.

You can buy pure parmesan cheese crisps in the deli at Walmart now.
3 crisps (large round cracker size but thinner, 15 g)
6 g fat (3.5 saturated)
15 mg cholesterol
150 mg sodium
<1g Total carb
7 g protein
2% Vit A & iron
Maintaining IS winning. Losing... it's icing on the cake!
