It's my 14th Anniversary today and we already celebrated about 10 days ago at a Brazilian barbecue restaurant when we had the opportunity and a babysitter. Now we are on a super low calorie + low carb month and I plan on making us a pumpkin spice version of the original in the microwave BTF (A Fantastic Flour mix thread, first post) cake. No topping.

It has been awhile since I've made just a simple cake... are these the kind that are better made in advance and chilled or eaten fresh & hot?

I haven't made that one, so I'm not sure, but I like my cake room temp or colder. So that's my vote!

They were okay plain. Would've rocked with a cream cheese frosting. I'm just a frosting kinda gal.
