Hi Everyone,

Got a few errands planned for today - got most done yesterday. The weather is supposed to be really nice today - maybe I'll take the dog outside for a bit of fresh air and sunshine.

Hope everyone has a nice holiday weekend,
Michele

Seems like a wonderful weather day, today, lots of birds out this morning, and not a lot of wind to blow you away.

Gladys, I'm glad your Houston gang is there, and you are having some laughs and fun!!

Bagete, can you look for your funny stuff and post it later on? Have a good day!

Linda, wishing you well, too, and take time to relax, not easy to do, really.

Michele, hope you can get outside with your doggie today, and get errands done, too.

Susan, make sure to buy your Hydrangea from a reputable place, and it should do fine. We bought both the regular, large kind, and the newer kind that stays short, and reblooms. Have azaleas that rebloom, too. So happy, no deer to eat the flowers off right away. Even planted some Lilies.
Mary, check around, they have done amazing stuff with Lilacs, lol, we found 5 kinds that live here in Texas, but usually you couldn't grow any here. Bought 2 of them, will see how they do. Apparently the plant breeders can do amazing things now, so a person can have plants that are hardier than they used to be. dh is still looking for that type of grass with the tall feathers that blow in the wind, he hasn't seen any at the nursery yet.

Need to do some laundry, Silas kept us going yesterday, and they didn't leave until 8:30, so never turned the washer on. We were going to an egg hunt at a park, but daughter in law can't talk, has such laryngitis, not a sound comes out of her, not even the usual croak, so I'm thinking we aren't going anywhere today at all. Tomorrow they will come here to do the hunt for Silas and we will grill something. The Easter Bunny will have been here by then.

Good day to you ALL.

Have a great week-end,I have no trouble relaxing.lol

There are different kinds of that grass, it's used extensively here and in California. He will be the one that takes care of it, anyway . Isn't it great that the weather has turned so nice, though, what a change!!

Got the dishwasher going, and did the rest by hand, now to fix dh's lunch, and then the laundry and cutting up strawberries. Still haven't made it to the outdoor markets, they are not too close, and inconvenient times.

Going out today is a good idea, tomorrow will be a lot like Mother's Day, crowds of people wanting to eat out

Good morning all...love it, Babette, thanks for posting it

I'm going to be relaxing all over the house today...so glad my rush-rush week is over, although it was nice to be staying busy, but this week I was in high gear all week and i really feel like it. The one thing I plan on doing it wrapping up my leftovers to move to the freezer...the fridge needs relief.

Enjoy your day and have a happy Easter Sunday...any special plans?

I'm just sitting here chuckling over Begete's sign. Got all the preliminaries done now for next thurs. surgery. Now I think I'll put a terrarium together. I have some glass jars that will make a nice home for some small plants. That sign inspired me, hahaha!
