Dr. Hyman 10 day Detox

Has anyone ever gone on this 10 day detox diet? I am thinking about doing it to jump start things.

ladyboss - sorry it has taken so long to get a response to you. This is the basic plan. Very low carb except maybe for the smoothie. I do love this smoothie for breakfast. It keeps me satiated until noon. I got so tired of eggs for breakfast but this I really enjoy. Here is link:

Dr. Hyman 10 day Detox

sarahatl,
How did the 10 day detox work for you?
I am in the process of reading the book and I am thinking about doing it.

kbegley - it went well....I did not give up the caffeine totally though and did have a glass of wine on weekend- besides that ...I did great. I really love the smoothie for breakfast- I look forward to that! Let me know if you go on it I need to do it again

I am on Day 4 of this detox diet and I have lost 6 pounds. That is nothing short of a miracle because I am perimenopausal and have gained 20 pounds this year. I only lost 3 pounds after doing Atkins for 2 weeks. I do not enjoy the breakfast smoothie, but I don't usually like to drink my food. I have given up artificial sweeteners and that's hard because I love Crystal Light and sugarfree gum. I may try to transition to regular low carb after the 10 days is up.
