WOE: Low Carb (Less than 30 total a day)
Start Date: 5/21/17
Taking it Easy

I've been taking it easy lately - more nautural rotations in the maintenance zone. So much has been happening lately that I've really needed some extra fuel to get through each day. I've been eating low carb to assure I maintain my weight loss until I get myself together, and things settle down. I feel behind on so many things, and losing my grandmother topped it off - I had never lost anyone before, not at an age where I really understood anyway...

Anywho - back to my WOE. I've been doing low carb 20-50g a daily. I finally found a few Quest bars that I like - now I'm addicted! I still need to transfer my gym membership. I don't lose any faster on LC, barely at all actually - but I don't retain water, and I don't feel any urge to binge, and that's worth it alone. LC will help me ease into this fitness program that a friend told be about and loved! I don't know much about it, but I know it's basically LC with some rotations, but it's very specific food for the first 30 days, and you gotta workout for ultimate fat loss. We'll see if it helps. I need a challenge to boost me back into the right mind set.

You're being smart, listening to what your body and mind are telling you they need right now, but without going off the rails. Very smart!

I know losing your grandmother is so hard. To be able to have an adult relationship with her is so wonderful. I missed out on that.

Hi ladybarometer,
I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your grandmother. Please accept my condolences.
I'm still learning more about lc, and I'd just started JUDDD, but it sounds to me like you have a plan, and that is a major thing for staying on track. I don't know much, but it sounds good to me!
Kudos to you for developing a plan during this very difficult time.
Treating yourself well all the time, but especially when you know you're at risk, does sound like the best plan.

It is great to have an alternate, healthy WOE to fall back on when a change is needed.

I am sorry you are going through so much

GOAL 10/3/12
Still at goal 2/6/13
Changed to LCHF after becoming diabetic in 9/13 (Lost 15 more pounds).
STILL below goal 11/21/15

I did not "lose" weight. I evicted it. It is gone and it ain't coming back!

JUDDD cares about calories. JUDDD does not care what you eat. Your body probably does.

So sorry about the death of your grandmother. I had one until I was about 30 and the other is still alive

It sounds like you have a plan for your eating so that is good.
JUDDD changed my life. It transformed my health, gave me freedom and restored my confidence.

JUDDD is very simple, very livable and very flexible. JUDDD allows weight loss and life to happen simultaneously.

Sounds like a good plan to take of *you*, LB.

Awww, LB, take care of yourself right now girl...and it sounds like you are! It's impressive enough to be able to maintain when you're grieving. Grief is exhausting! Huge hugs to you, you know what to do!
