GLCBC PIzza Crust

So I know there have been a lot of threads on the low carb bread company. im a fan.

But their crust is too thick.
last night I meticulously cut it in half (and didn't dmg it somehow). it was now a thin crust at half the carbs (4 for the WHOLE thing). because these LC crusts don't tend to crisp up I put it on a pan with some melted butter on the bottom for 3 minutes in the oven, then took it off the pan.
It browned and crisped up perfectly.
Anyone who hasn't tried it, please do. I had a WHOLE pizza (didn't eat it all) with sauce, cheese, and pepperoni and real tasting crust for about 12 carbs total.

I agree the crusts are too thick. Would you order again knowing you can cut them in half and get a crispier crust? I had decided not to order them again, but might reconsider after reading your post. I make the Fat Head (Holy Grail) pizza crust, and it's pretty good too.

I will absolutely order more. However, I also use a sesame GLCBC bagel for bagel pizzas too and they are very good.
I think once they are cut in half (pizza crusts) it really makes the toppings stand out more, and the butter to help flavor and crispness makes it much more like real pizza.

Thanks for posting. I was looking at these. My absolute favorite pizza crust is LC Food Corp's Pizza Flour. Nothing comes close IMO. But I was thinking about trying these on those days I'm too lazy to make pizza from scratch. Will definitely try these and cut in half as you suggested.

I ordered 2 of these when I made my bread/bagel order, but I've yet to try the pizza crust. Did you bake the crust off before putting the sauce/toppings on? I'm just wondering if it would be more crisp that way.

I've not really ever been a fan of thin crispy pizza, so I hope the dough is good when I do try it.
