getting frustrated

I have been on atkins for about a month now and lost 11 pounds. I weigh myself every morning, I know it's not advised but I like to see the numbers. This past week I remained the same EXACT weight 3 days in a row and then gained 4 ounces. I am very strict with my diet probably only consuming around 18 grams of carbs per day, I have been vigilant with my water consumption as well, trying to get eight 8 ounce glasses in a day. I go to the gym 5 days a week with 30 minutes of interval cardio and 25 minutes of weight training whether it be abs, arms, or a combination.

I have tried this diet before and got much better, faster results that time. I don't know if I am doing something wrong. I do know that I had about 10 pounds more to lose this time. So I am essentially back to the weight I began my diet on previously when I did this. I really wanted to lose the next 15 pounds by the beginning of May because I am going on vacation. Is this realistic? I am getting frustrated not seeing the scale go down and also not seeing a real noticeable difference in my appearance. I have taken pictures and measurements.

Any advice would be appreciated!!

I'm going to quote your advice to another member back to you because it was spot on
I'm adding the bold part

You have to accept that your body is not always going to give you the results you want when you want them. There are still plenty of options in terms of food choices you can have instead of just thinking "well I guess I'm done with that."

I think staying on induction past the first 2 weeks is a really wise thing to do, its actually how I go about my diet. However your body is just never going to respond the same way after those first 2 weeks.

I hope you stick with this diet and continue on the path. It will work if you give it time!

I guess you are right, I must have a hard time accepting that the same rules apply for my weight loss as well.

I'm just getting frustrated that even though the scale moved, my body still looks the same, to me at least, and that I work out really hard everyday but things aren't progressing quicker.

Have you taken measurements? You look at yourself everyday so smaller changes can be really hard to see... Hang in there!
