D: Hmm... I would LOVE to have MoJo Burrito - Wheat tortilla, pintos, rice, pico, guacamole, sour cream, lettuce, onions, cheese. Maybe..

We're picking up our new apartment keys today - it was originally supposed to be Friday, but they finished a day early.

The big move isn't until Saturday though - I think we have a good stock of men to do the heavy lifting - I will supervise

Just kidding, of course I'll help!

I'm really thinking about taking a personal day from work soon to relax. This week has been really busy with packing, plus work, plus my mamaw has been in the hospital - I need a day to breathe. I need a me day

Just weighing after a DD. I started at 212 lbs on my first UD.
Today is an UD! Yesterday was hard and I had to eat more than I wanted to because I felt so sick last night. I was so hungry!!!

My eating plan for my UP day is simple:
NO ALCOHOL calories.
The rest will be easy.
Happy UP Day to all!

I must be pretty distracted today... LOL!
I packed my UD lunch this morning and brought it to work...
But at 11am, I'm trying to ignore my slightly growling tummy. THEN I remembered that I CAN eat breakfast, because it's an UD! YESTERDAY was my DD... DOH! Eating breakfast now... feeling much better!

I just ate 4 scrambled eggs and used Smart Balance butter. I'm having a lot of back pain and had to take a half a pain pill. I hate having back pain!

B: breakfast bar, coffee + HWC (300)

D: Not sure, but it will be lighter than lunch. if I can skip it, I will.

I was extra hungry this morning! Ate both breakfast and lunch a bit early, but stuffed now!

I need to have a lowish up day, because I will probably have a highish down day tomorrow. Somehow, I got myself on the social schedule of having both lunch and dinner at restaurants on what's supposed to be a DD. I'm planning carefully, but I want my average for the two days to be between 1000 and 1250. Or I guess I could call it two MDs. But MDs don't sound as weight-loss-y to me. It's all in the words.

I did something really different today and so far I am pleased and may continue this on UP Days.
I had a delicious breakfast and then my 'main' meal at noon. I even had dessert (yes, cheesecake).
I am very satisfied.
I will eat a very very light supper (I think a hard boiled egg and some broth) and will have 0 calories left for any adult beverages.
I think this will even make my DD more effective as I will be essentially starting my fast about 2 on my upday.
I feel pretty pleased w/ this new idea.
Time will tell.
Hope your days are going well!
Hugs

Pat,
Do let us know how it goes. When I was LC, I often skipped dinner and it made a difference in the weight loss rate.

I've been looking at the "other diets" thread and reading the Big Breakfast/Stress Eating Cure that involves one large meal in the morning and no carbs rest of day. I am fascinated. The weight loss seems slow, but steady. I don't have the slightest bit of faith in myself that I could eat a huge carby meal in the morning and then not binge all day. But I never thought I could do 500 cal down days either, and this week I've had 2 of them under 300 cals. So, what do I know about myself?

Well, YUMMO!!
Enjoy your wine.
I have been choosing to have drinks vs. eating and I just don't want to go there.
When I get things in hand again I will be joining you!!!
Big hug!!
