Help! I'm confused! Low GI or Low GL?

I am really confused here folks.... Can someone please explain the difference in the two? Which one is the right one to use?

Thanks!
Wendy

GI is individual foods; GL is the combination of foods you're eating.
I think most of the "experts" say that the Glycemic Load (GL) is more important than the Glycemic Index(GI) of the individual foods.

Learn something new every day! I don't bother with the concept but it's good to know the distinction

I've also had problems understanding the difference, but also don't pay any attention to it since I can't eat most of the foods on either list.
