Did GREAT today!

Dh's bday..and his fave meal is turkey dinner with stuffing and all the fixings, so I made that for his dinner today... I ate turkey, a small amount of gravy (made with rice flour), and LC veggies...no potatoes, and no stuffing! Very pleased with myself! I LOVE stuffing... but left it alone (left the potatoes, too!)!

That's great! Keep that in mind for when the holidays roll around. I don't have any trouble with holidays because I make sure I make low carb items along with the regular fare. My family knows that my meals will be healthier, but they don't tease me about it as much!

Good for you. You have every right to be proud of yourself-that's a challenge,
I love stuffing, too--previously, I would eat it in preference to the turkey, but not so much now. Bread is my downfall, along with some cheeses. (Read pizza!) I grew up with home-made breads and rolls--and everything else...

Good job...I know you are proud of yourself for sure....

I cook or bake for my family the real stuff as they would call it and my LC for me so I want tempted but I always have salads and veggies for both that we all enjoy...Desserts would be very different...I fixed the real things but I just keep LC fruit or diet jello handy for me.....

Yeah I made chicken carbonara last night with fresh homemade pasta, fresh bread etc.
Richest dish ever. Ate some chicken and the sauce, no noodles or bread.
BTW I realized chicken carbonara has like ZERO carbs.
All it is is egg yolks, parm cheese, and HWC , then the chicken sauted (how I do it) in EVOO. phenomenal flavor.

I made chicken Alfredo and had it over spiral cut zucchini - that's my pasta replacement. I spiral cut everything now - lol.
