How many sizes have you lost?

I just started low carbing, but am curious if some of you could share how many clothing sizes you have gone down? I am currently in a 14 and would like to get down to a 5 jeans. I am a XL top as I carry my weight more in my chest/belly area. I would like to be in medium tops. I am mostly wondering about the women since we are shaped much different than men. Thanks!

I started at a size 24 jeans, XXL tops. Now I'm a 12/14 in jeans and a M/L in tops.
My goal is about an 8/10 in jeans.

I started in a size 20 in pants and a size 24 to 26 in shirts. Now I am a size 8 in pants and a large (I have a large chest ) in shirts.

I was at a size 18, and now 14's fit me perfectly. I started at around 200 and I am now 181. I am 5'5 and muscular so I carry a lot of weight in arms, thighs, and calves, plus I am well-endowed in the chest

Its always interesting to me how much an actual weight corresponds with an actual size, give or take a little.

I'm not sure because I know the largest size I wore was one or two sizes too small.

But I've been losing for over a year & have gone down lots of sizes. I replaced my entire wardrobe & am in the process of doing it again. I don't have a "size goal."

I'm 5'7. At 206 I was maxing out size 16. I think around 185 is size 14 for me, I'm currently in the low 170s and wearing size 12. I've been plateaued for about 7 weeks now but I'm pretty anxious to get down one more size and to 159 as my next mini-goal.

I am at 176 and my 14's are a little loose. I am hoping that by low carbing, I will be able to see the sizes go down and not just the scale. I lost 15 pounds prior to low carb, but did not go down any sizes.

I'm 5'5" and started out at 16/18 jeans, and an XL in tops. I am now in size 8 jeans and M or L top depending on the style. I'm still large chested LOL so sometimes the M doesn't work.

I am 5'5" and started out at 160 pounds and a size 12 with medium tops. Now I wear a size 6 pants and extra small tops (I've always been narrow shouldered and carry most of my weight in the stomach and thighs). In dresses I can get into a 4.

I started out in a TIGHT size 14 (probably a size 16 in reality, just refused to buy bigger jeans), now in a size 10 working on size 8. Used to have to wear XL tops, but can now wear a medium.

I'm not sure how many shirt sizes I'm down. A little but not as much as pant size.
I started Jan 2 at about a 40 waist. I'm now in jeans that I wore 5 years ago and they are a size 34. They are tight, but wearable.

My mom is over 200 pounds and fits into a size 14 jeans, I am 176 and fit the same size as her. Mine are a little looser than hers but she is 25 pounds heavier than I am. We are shaped similar with an Apple shape. Am I to assume she has more lean muscle than me? If I can get into smaller sizes at a higher weight, that would be great! I am just getting started so I am interested in seeing what results I get! Everyone's results are encouraging!

Ah...sizes I can related to!

I was in a 38 jean, but I had some 40s in some pants, etc. My weight is more right above my waist though. I'm wearing 36s now. Most of my shirts are XXL. I was noticing this morning that a lot of my t-shirts are way too big, but still not long enough. I need to start looking online for some XL Tall shirts.

My motorcycle gear is getting loose too, and that's going to cost me a small fortune to replace if I lose more weight.

My wife carries all of her extra weight in her rear and thighs, but her mother carries every extra ounce in her belly. They are entirely opposite.

Just starting my LC journey over again.

Seven years ago I lost 70lbs and went from a 16 to size 4. I'm 5'5". (after injury/surgery and 3 years of riding the couch, I'm back up 75 )

What I did before, and am doing again because it was soooo motivating, was buy Lee's Low Rider jeans size 12, 10, 8 and 6, and I hung them up on the back of my bedroom door. (bought two at a time at Walmart, $20 each)

Every time I lost 15 or more lbs I would take the next size down and try them on. When they would fit I would wear them on my 'girl's night out' and announce the change to my girlfriends. They were so supportive and got to be just as excited about the changes as I was.

Since the jeans are all by the same manufacturer and cut the same way, it was a great visual tracker. I know it isn't supposed to be about the size of clothes, but lets face it, that 'number' really does help with motivation. I was so psyched when I had to go back and buy the 4's!

Edit: It was also motivating to see the jeans hanging on my door first thing in the morning and as last thing before going to bed. It was a great visual reminder of my goals.

I started at 24wp pants/jeans & 3XL tops (8 months ago). Now I'm in size 6 jeans/pants & Med/Large tops depends on the cut. And when I started (again this time around) my goal was 150 lbs and size 12/14.

Funny but in my mind's eye, I'm still 250 pounds... which is probably a blessing since it helps me to continue with this WOE.

KampyKool that is a great idea to do with the pants! All these huge size changes give me hope that I too will shrink quite a bit. I have already lost 20 pounds since last August but did not go down any sizes yet. I did not lose it doing low carb, so I am hoping by going low carb I will lose the fat this time that takes up more space! Thanks for giving me hope!
