3/1 I did a little dancing at the club last night. It was after midnight. Today there was a trip to Costco. I consider both of these exercise!

Start Date: 11/3/14; JUDDD 7/11/12
Goal for the month: 100-150 min cardio and 2-3 weight training sessions/wk.

3/2 - 15 minutes walking dog, 72 minutes trail walking, including four 30-second sprints.

I'm trying to incorporate HIIT into the more fun outside walks. I was afraid to do it before because I envisioned myself sprinting on a root or a rock or something, but it went great!

3/3 - 30 minutes weights workout with trainer.* (triceps, chest press, abs, deadlifts, squats, lunges, pushups, "mountain climber")

*Kind of disappointing. I learned a few things, but unlike in the past, where I got a custom workout plan I could use later, the free hour was basically half discussing my goals, then only 1/2 hour "teaser" training ... all a sales pitch set up for paid personal fitness training. Also? I guess I can understand this, but he clearly assumed I was way more out of shape then I actually am under the padding. I did get some stuff out of it, and he was OK, but will not be buying personal training from this person at this time.

Christina, that was my experience with the personal training session I had too. It's so frustrating. Why can't they give you the tools to do your own workout?

My exercise yesterday involved a short race with Keira. She won!

3/4/14, 6pm jogged 20 minutes, my choice exercise for now. I used to do recumbent bike I try to do something to up my heartbeat. Love walking also! Just need some upbeat music and I'm on my way. Plan to do some sort of exercise on most/all UD.
