Coffee and ketone reading

I am playing around with my Nova max reader taking random readings throughout the day. Had a reading of 2.4 this am after consuming two cups of coffee. Does coffee stimulate ketone production?

First thing in the morning and in a fasted state is when your ketones will be the lowest. If they are over .5, you are in ketosis. Beyond that, I don't see the point of measuring.
