Help w/ broth, pls and ty

Maybe I just love salt?
My DDs are so easy w/ Chix bouillon. I could drink it all day.
It is just so full of salt.
I've tried using broth, low sodium, canned and boxed.
I just don't like it.
Is the salt in the Bouillon defeating my purpose?
Suggestions to help me like broth?
Best.

If you're not sodium sensitive, I don't see any problem with it. I add salt to everything and have no adverse reactions unless I'm dehydrated.

Thank you for this, Dawn.
I will just watch and see how it goes.
I am staying off the scale for a while as weighing will often derail me.
I think I shall continue on and up my water (ugh).

I agree. I don't seem to have any problem with salt or HBP, so I use salt with abandon, including broth. If you enjoy it, and it helps you get through DDs, why not?

I tried the low salt bullion cube, they were gross, I tossed them.
The regular sodium cubes are over the top full of salt for me.
I dilute them way down. I get 5 mugs of broth from one cube.
I like it that way.

I sometimes add salt to my broth. It has a satisfaction factor on my DDs, plus I'm running to the bathroom every fifteen minutes, so I don't think it hurts.

Have you ever tried "Better than Bouillon?" it's actually a paste sold in the same area as those cubes and it is really good. I am the same - can't drink the can/carton broth by itself but I will heat it up and add a little bit of paste at a time until I get to the flavor that is satisfying.

I also don't have an issue with sodium so I am ok with this.

ETA: confession: when my homemade broth doesn't turn out so tasty I add the Better than Boullion to give it a bit more flavor.

I need to add salt to my food or I get dizzy. Sodium does not effect me negatively. I haven't had broth in ages but I like Better than Boullion.

I like it too, but don't drink broth very often anymore. It helped tremdously in the beginning though.

I get calf cramps if I don't get enough salt. In fact, I've been feeling them trying to form lately. I may try the bullion just so I have a way to get more salt without many calories.

Try the "Better than Boullion". It's delicious and spoils you for any other kind of broth, especially the cubes. blech.

Ditto. I love BTB. And I will also add it to my homemade chicken stock if it doesn't end up as chickeny flavored as I like it to be.
