low sugar,inslin, and starting over

I am just into my second day of low carb, was doing very well! Sugars finally under control but tonight after taking my lantus dose I had a low spell. Sugars dropped to 3.4 and I was very symptomatic. Hurriedly took pure sugar to bring it up quickly. Feeling frustrated because all the last days induction period is spoilt. Will have to begin again. Should I stop taking insulin? Any diabetics have had a similar experience and if so, how did you handle it?

Don't stop taking insulin, this is something you need to discuss with your doctor
