Why do I always forget!

I know I am a guy so I probably do not have the right to tell anyone this but....... I think the first three days of induction are like child birth. I am miserable for the three day (ketosis) then its all happy happy fun time. But like child birth I forget how the three days were like until I am at it again.

Its probably just me and its a cross I am willing to bare but now day 2 I am in full swing cranky mode and I need to vent!

Anyways, good day to all. Back to my broccoli and chicken.

James

Nothing wrong with venting, the first days of induction are really hard for some folks, like me so i totally understand. hang in there.

Vent away! We're happy to hear it and encourage you.

BUT, as a mother of 6, let me just tell you that the first days of induction are NOTHING like childbirth!!!

I mean it in the way that they say as soon as you have the baby the experience kind of goes away until your having another baby!

The first week or so is kind of terrible! This is my third restart of induction and the first few days I always say "ugh why am I doing this??" I get headaches, feel fatigues and mental fog. But then one day you wake up and feel better than ever. I think it is just that transition period where your body has no idea what to do after it has used up all your glucose stores and starts but before it knows to use fat as fuel. You will get through it

Today was awesome. Did not watch the clock for the next time I can eat and I am getting ready to pound out a few miles on the treadmill. Planning on a half, possibly full marathon this year. Unfortunately Colorado does not allow for much road work this time of year.
