Down Day Sunday - Plans

Water, water, and more water. Feeling rather parched this morning.

And to keep myself busy: dishes, weaving and knitting while watching football, and reading my Christmas book while taking a bath.

Looking ahead to tomorrow, I feel the need for an extra healthy Up Day. I have been having too many leftover treats, and although the weight is behaving as it should, I just feel stodgy. Considering fish and green smoothies, plus salads, just to give myself a good nutrition infusion!

Coffee all morning and early afternoon (editing a film with my favourite editor who drinks coffee and eats Werther's as he works, even if we work for ten hours), broth after that, eggs if I need them.
Had a salad last dd. Made me hungry.

I am reading 'Just One Evil Act' by Elizabeth George. Some of her books I have found difficult to get into, because they start with grim situations. But this one has just enough humor and neutral stuff in the beginning, to make it more approachable. I'm able to read it in small chunks, instead of having to dedicate a couple of hours to it, to get into the story enough that the grimness doesn't drag me down. My emotional mood can really be affected by what I am reading.

Hopefully the last of the difficult DDs for me today. Stuck home (snowstorm here) with the family and lots of food around today. I'll drink coffee and hope to nibble on a bit of rotisserie chicken and some veggies when making their dinner tonight. Fingers are crossed!

Regardless, next week is NORMAL. Thank goodness! I could so easily regain everything in a New York minute!

Sounds like some great low DD's are taking place today! Yes we are awesome! Melinda sorry you're snowed in. We are actually supposed to get a pretty good bit down here tomorrow. I'm sure our grocery stores are cleaned out. Just the mention of snow sends people running to the stores like crazy people. The sad thing is we actually do need groceries but I don't feel like dealing with the crazy people. That being said my DD is as follows. ...
B: coffee w / hh creamer
L: green tea
D:broth or hb egg

Feeling very munchy this afternoon. Over the last three hours I have had some diet jello, a bite of herring, and a cup of collard greens. Trying to hang in there and stay under my calorie count until I can get to bed (early!) tonight. So much for the water plan!
