UD Wednesday - starting the New Year

Happy new year!

I like to start JUDDD on an UD and I like to start the new year with dim sum (Chinese dumplings and other small bites).

Mission accomplished on both fronts!

We're now napping, and have some BBQ pork for later.

Planning my dd now, bc if I fail to plan, well, you know how that goes

Who else is with me today? Just come in and say hi!

S.

Napping sounds good ...
I have to start dinner in the next few hours and I am not sure if we have anything else planned.

I hope to have a great DD tomorrow and get off to a good start to the new year

I haven't had dim sum in forever! Sounds like a lovely New Years' meal.

We brought home the sweet ones: custard, yellow/sesame paste, red bean paste, and they do this new green tea paste one. Those are mor for dh...I'm all about the custard buns, so when there's 3, I get 2 and he gets 1.

We also bought BBQ pork, and roast suckling pork, from their, um, roast and BBQ counter. So we have that to nibble on, today, day after tomorrow.
But I'm so full, I won't eat for another few hours. That old thing about Asian food making you hungry an hour later is soooooo untrue!

UD for me too!!

Had a egg, bacon, ham, cheese and onion breakfast bake for breaky with DH. He has toast with his and I had some blueberries and pecans.
We had Mexican for lunch at a wonderful Mexican restaurant here. I had mango chicken salad. That part was pretty healthy but I did have chips and cheese dip. They have the best chips ever!!!
Dinner will be roast, mashed potatoes for DH, salad for me and black eyed peas with jalapenos.
And maybe cheesecake for dessert!!!

UD for me after a MD yesterday - family get-together this afternoon with lots of good food and conversation. Well actually food wasn't as good as I expected, so I may have ended up with another MD today. I made a huge pot of stuffed cabbage yesterday and we snacked on it after we got home.
