Up Up and Away Day Question

How many calories over your normal UD amount do you consider it to be an UUAD?

I went over by 600 calories yesterday due to a holiday luncheon and then having a dinner meeting. Not sure if this would constitute an UUAD or not. Didn't go overboard on sweets, just too much food in general!!

I think you'll find we all vary on this answer. For me, personally, it's around 500 calories over. Really an UUAD is anything you feel went significantly over your UD calories.

Luckily with JUDDD it doesn't really matter as long as it doesn't happen all that often. Have a good DD today and it'll be just a blip on the radar.

JUDDD got me where I want to be!

Dawn's right (wow, I find myself saying that a lot! )

We all have a different definition of UUAD. I think you're probably just on the cusp of one at 600 over. Don't sweat it though, and don't try and make up for it. You may find that little burst of extra calories triggers your body to think it's safe to release some fat.

Thanks for the reply ladies! I got on the scale this morning and it showed a
.2 gain from the day before so I guess the true test will be what it says tomorrow (since today is a DD). Hopefully the extra cals will trigger something!

I always assumed that an UUAD would leave you feelng miserable and stuffed to the gills but in looking back over what I had, it wasn't the volume of food but rather that it was higher calorie items that what I normally have.

Since I don't count calories on my Up Days, I don't consider ANYTHING an UUAD. They are all just Up Days. However, I do notice when I eat a bunch of bad stuff, rather than just an abundance of good stuff.

If you only had a .2 gain after a UD, then you must have done something right lol. I rarely have under a 1 lb gain, and it's usually 2. A UUAD for me means 1000+ over.
