Fluid/Edema in my eyes

eye doctor doesn't know what's causes edema in our cornea.
Eye drops of Muro twice daily burn like the dickens. But welllll worth is it cures them.
A month now using the drops.
Still not much better on second dr. visit.
I went last week to renew my drivers lic.
I failed the eye test. HELLO freaked at first.
I have glasses on order to help with passing my eye test to drive.
Fingers crossed.
Have anyone every had this problem of my Juddd buds.
I thought I needed cataract surgery and OR possible laser surgery and I'd be brand new. No such luck.
Anybody?

Oh no! I'm sorry, I've never heard of it. Have you done any research online about it? Or gotten a 2nd opinion? Good luck with the drivers test and getting those eyes back to normal!

Oh no, that's not good. I am going today to renew mine also and am hoping I pass mine. My prescription is old and haven't worn my contacts in a while.

MY hubby wants me to see another doc.
Yes I googled it and looks like the chance of getting rid of it is 50-50. Don't like the odds.
My hubby wants me to go to another dr.
I'm going to fet set up with a different dr. U no how that is. Want to hate to sort if thing. But I'm going to call one my friends use. Probably take months to get in, yikes with that, no biggy. I have until January 9 before I have to retake the drivers written test driving test.
That would be terrible.
Good luck Beverly!!

Eye dr. Appt made for this Thursday, amazingly fast appt.
i feel good about doing the second option.
This doctor will except our insurance since my dx is edema.
It will be filed under my medical, insurance.
So my first eye dr, didn't off that option. She is kicked to the curb, in a nice way of course.
Thanks guys, just needed that added nudge Carol

You've been checked for glaucoma, right?

Hope it's just nothing and will go away with the drops. Good luck finding a new doc quickly.

yes 4 DEv I've been through the complete test. No sign of Glaucoma. Thanks G
I'm happy that my appt is soon.
I'm not worried about it. Can see to drive. The drivers lic place acts like I need to see well enough to read and drive....I don't text or read the paper while driving. I Can read road sign, stop lights fine, not problem. I really don't get it.
Now to read the dash board of the car, nah I guess. guess how fast Im going and how empty my gas tank is. But that's no biggy. I know where the 55 mph mark is on my cars speedometer.
Had to figure that out year or so ago
Still say I don't need glasses to drive SAFTY! Really
But the fluid in my eyes aren't normal Thats the deal.
Notice it more in the evening or first thing in the morning, weird, little foggy-fuzzy, weird.

Sounds like you're already kinda sorted but you really need to be sure you're seeing an ophthalmologist and not an optometrist. An ophthalmologist can look at your whole body and see if there could possibly be an underlying causes contributing or exacerbating your eyes.
