How many carbs are in this chilli recipe?
I am trying to learn how to figure out the carbs in a recipe
This is a chilli I make on my smoker
1.5 - 2 lbs. ground Chuck
1 lb. Italian Sausage (casing removed)
2 cups Onion (chopped) (30G carbs)
1 Green Bell Pepper (seeded and chopped) (12G carbs)
2 Jalapeno Chiles (seeded and chopped fine) (12G carbs)
1 Serrano Chiles (seeded amd chopped fine) (7G carbs)
1 Tbs. Garlic (minced)
1 (28 oz.) can Diced Tomatoes and liquid (21G carbs?)
1 (15 oz.) can Diced Tomatoes and liquid (10G carbs?)
1 can Rotel (5g carbs)
3 Tbs. Chili Powder
1 Tbs. Ancho Chile Powder
1.5 Tbs. ground Cumin
1 tsp. ground Cinnamon
2 Bay Leaves
1 tsp. dried Oregano
3 Tbs. DP Cow Lick Steak Rub
2 cups Beef Broth
1 cup Dry Red Wine (5g carbs?)
2-3 dried Chili Peppers (chipotle, ancho, etc.) to float on top
*Note : you may want to remove the seeds from these dried peppers before adding so they don't release during cooking.
These were in there but I will make it without them
2 cans (15 oz. each) Pinto or Dark Kidney Beans (drained)
1 can (29 oz.) Hominy (drained) - optional
2 (1 oz.) squares Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate
Now not adding carbs in the spices (if any or sausage meat) this recipe has 107G carbs
I do not know how many servings or serving sizes. How can I figure out the carbs per serving/bowl? If its 6 servings is it 17+ carbs per serving?

Sounds like a lot of tomatoes therefore a lot of carbs...I make an all meat chili(3 pounds of aa mix of meats) and add 2 tbs of tomato paste, 1 can of rotel tomatoes with chilis, and use beef broth or stock(8cups) to make up the rest of the liquid...I also use spices in place of some of the veggies to cut down on carbs like onion and garlic powder, chili powder cumin, thyme, cayane, salt, pepper,paprika...then a little glucomanan(3tsp) to thicken.
If you want thicker chili reduce the liquid.
My chili comes out to about 7 carbs an 8 ounce serving.

Your math appears right. Take the ladle you usually use and using a measuring cup see how much water it'll hold. Mine is 1/2 cup. So, if I use two ladles of chili it's about 1cup. Sometimes you just have to measure it out or keep track.
Say, you have a bowl everyday (2 ladles) and it last X amount days, then you'll know how many servings are reasonable for you. Or, if you make a lot, measure it out into baggies for the freezer.
