Awesome results!!

I have been doing JUDDD for about 6 weeks I think. Well this Morning I got on the scales and I am at an all time new low!! 116.5!!!!! I used to be at 115 years ago when I first did lowcarb. But went up to 124-125 this last year. I was blaming menopause. That is 8 pounds!! I wanted to get back to 118 so I am stoked. I think that the low calorie days and the fact that I am eating more clean foods is what is my key. I used to eat so many almond flour muffins, biscuits etc. I have not had any of those and I have cut out tsps do peanut butter. I am so stoked!!! Off to the elliptical!!! And I love my hoola hoop. This way of eating rocks!!

I am delighted for you Brenda, that was just what happened to me when I changed to JUDDD. I had been eating so much more food than my body needed, just because it was LC.

I think that is the clue Cindy..I was eating too much of the lowcarb stuff. . I am eating salads,veggies, good proteins,etc. and when I need a sweet I eat a 100 calorie pack of dark chocolate covered blueberries. My usual stomach bloat is almost gone. I still do lowcarb and I am grain free.

Wonderful!

I tried to hula hoop in WM the other day to show my 6yo how to do it, and it was hysterical. Only managed about 3 spins before it dropped. I used to be pretty good at it as a kid. I've heard it's amazing exercise.

Yeehaa great results!! Would you mind advising what your calories are for UD/DD's and a general idea of what you eat on the days (we are at the same-ish weight). Yum chocolate covered blueberries, I used to like to make my own with cocoa crack and I need to get back into it. What will you do for maintenance? Sorry to pick your brain.

I hear you on the LC versions of foods. I stay away from anything made with almond and coconut flour because I know I wouldn't be able to stop.

PS: "Hoola hoop" is that what we used as kids?

It's a weighted hoola hoop. I started with one after reading about a few others on the board using theirs.
My dd days are kinda high. I am usually at 500. Sometimes 600.
Mu ud range from 1400-1800. Last night was about 1550.
I get the brook side chcocolate covered blueberries and pomegranate at costco already prepacked in 100 calories bags. Very convenient.
On my dd I have salad a lot and egg whites. Lunch is usually soup or lunchmeat wrapped around pickles.

Not meant as a thread jack here, but what weight is your hula hoop? I used to use a couple different ones when I went to an exercise place, but don't remember what either weighed or which I liked the best.

Mine's 2.5 pounds (all I could find at Target) and I think it's heavy enough, but I know they go up to 5 pounds IIRC.

Oh yes! My waist has gone down several inches and feels and looks tighter, and dare I say.....small. Upper hips have also reduced, and I just feel tighter in my torso area. I swear by it!
