Need Doctor in Baton Rouge Right Away

I am no longer able to see Dr. Bhushan, and Dr. Flood is not accepting new patients.

If anyone knows of a thyroid doctor in Gonzales, Prairieville, or Baton Rouge that would continue my T3 meds, please let me know. My prescription will be running out soon.

I live far from Baton Rouge & so can't provide a recommendation but did want to share with you the fact that my GP monitors my hypothyroidism and provides my prescriptions. I've been hypothyroid for about 40 years and although originally diagnosed by an endocrinologist have for at least 35 years been treated by my regular family practitioner. Perhaps your situation may be more complicated that mine but I just wanted to let you know that an endocrinologist may not be your only option.

Sorry, just noticed that there is a very long earlier thread on this topic. Obviously your situation is much more complicated than mine is so I apologize for my pointless earlier post. Wishing you luck in finding an appropriate endocrinologist nearby.

Try asking a pharmacist. They'd know who prescribes.
