Back on track, question I can't find an answer to

Ah it's good be to back here again! Had a two and half week visit from my brother and his three kids. I swore I was going to keep LC Juddding during their visit. Yea, I'm that delusional!

Okay so I'm back trying to get into the swing of things again, it's so hard to pick up after a break that long, but I'm coming along. Was happy with the 1pound gain I discovered when I finally had the nerve to face my scale gain.

My question that I can't find the answer to is this; do we ever recalculate our UD DD calories as our weight adjusts? I'm supposed to eat 2240 UD and 440 DD, at my current weight. So after a few months and I lose say 50 pounds, am I to keep on using the calorie count from that point? It doesn't make sense to me. I'm sure the answer is there, I just can't seem to find it with reading everything online. I don't have the book though, perhaps it's covered there? Any ideas?

In my experience, you WILL need to adjust at some point, but not until your weight loss stalls. I reduced too early once and found I had to adjust back up to my original numbers to kickstart the weight loss again. For me, it was about every 30 pounds or so that I ended up having to recalculate and adjust my calories. YMMV.

JUDDD got me where I want to be!

Yep, my experience was just like Dawn's. Don't reduce too soon. You want that metabolism to stay revved up and able to burn as many calories as possible on UDs. Welcome back!

I never changed my numbers and still, in fact, shoot for those same numbers now. Well, I did reduce my UD numbers after about 25# down. I promptly stalled! The wise buddd's advised me to go back up to my original numbers, and I started losing again. Just don't change a thing unless you stop losing for awhile!!!!! Maybe you'll luck out and never need to change them!
