OLD Recipes from this site revisited
Here I am low carbing again after falling off the wagon and regaining my weight. Will I ever learn? I try to limit my sweet treats, but these are my go to when I do.
Here are couple of old recipes taken from this board that I dug out of my files that were real winners with no odd ingredients:
Barbara's Low Carb Fudge Brownie
1 stick butter
2 sqaures unsweetened chocolate
1 cup AS (1/2 splenda, 1/2 diabetisweet) or all splenda
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 cup almond flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup chopped walnuts
Melt together butter and chocolate in microwave. Stir in sweeteners, eggs and vanilla and beat mixture well. Stir in almond flour and salt. Add walnuts and blend. Pour into an 8" x 8" square pan sprayed with PAM. Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes. Don't overbake. Cool and cut. Makes 16 brownies at less than 2 carbs each.
Peanut Butter Bars
1-1/4 stick butter
1 ounce unsweetened baking chocolate
2 cups pecans finely ground
sweetener to taste
Melt chocolate and butter in a saucepan. Sweetned to taste. Mix in ground pecans. Spread in a 9 X 13 pan. Refrigerate while making the filling:
2 tablespoons butter
8 ounces cream cheese
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
sweetner to tase
1/2 cup natural peanut butter
Melt butter, cream cheese and cream in saucepan until smooth. Add vanila, sweeten to taste. Take off heat and beat in peanut butter. Pour over chocolate layer and refrigerate until firm. Cut into squares.

You certainly picked a couple winning recipes.
The only thing that I would change for 2013 is to try Swerve
sugar substitute or at least leave out Splenda as it does not
sweeten chocolate or lemons as well as others. Even erythritol/
Splenda mix would be better.
Don't bother wasting your energy on being mad at yourself.
You need a big congratulations for making a comeback

I have so many recipes from this site!
One simple and delicious oldie but goodie is:
Plain Greek yogurt
Sf instant pudding (raspberry is best, IMO)
Sf cool whip (optional)
Stir together yogurt and pudding powder to your flavor. You can put cool whip in it, or on it. I like stirring it in. It's excellent frozen a bit too.
