David's Chicken and Friends

The ingredients in this recipe are so sooo simple. I doubt its anything new for some of you guys. I've been super busy of lately and doing a lot of eating out. This is what I had for lunch today at Wild Wings Cafe. They serve this with chips but had mine with celery sticks. It was super yummy! As soon as I got home I googled a copy cat recipe and found this recipe on a blog.

Copycat of Davids Chicken and Friends

1 chicken breast cooked and cubed
5 slices of bacon, cooked and chopped
1 green onion chopped
1 cup cheddar cheese
1/2 cup home made ranch dressing
1/4 cup mild wing sauce

I made my own home made ranch dressing by using the powdered ranch mix and sour cream along with a small amount of milk to make it a little runny. This tastes way better than salad dressing in a bottle.
Combine Ranch, mild sauce and chicken. Mix it to coat the chicken evenly. Add bacon and the green onion to the mixture. Mix well. Add shredded cheddar cheese and melt in the microwave or under a broiler. When the cheese is melted take out of the microwave and stir.

I SERIOUSLY need to try this! I've been wanting to try it for a long time now. I really, really want to find a healthy alternative to bottled ranch dressing and I'm hoping this will be it.

I'm going to use LindaSue's powdered ranch mix recipe and some cream with water in place of the milk

Tulips, that sounds good! Is this supposed to be one or two servings? I'll be trying it for sure! And, if I get the whole thing, so much the better!
