Down Day Tuesday- What's going on?

I'm doing tea, water, kombucha, and maybe a protein shake this evening. (I keep saying that, but I never seem to get around to the protein shake. But I want to keep my options open!)

I have fallen into a nice routine for my Down Days, doing some special activities those days that help keep me busy so I don't go to my default of thinking about food. I take the dogs on an extra long walk, treat myself to a luxurious bath(I LOVE hot baths, where I put my toes up and read while I soak), and usually putz around the library(that can take hours!).

I love that you save special things to do on DDs Sirt
My tea collection, while good any time of course, is especially for my DDs... I haven't reached the "omg I'm so cold on this DD" situation yet, but I know those days are coming soon... right now, I'm still pretty much hot all the time... function of the changing weather, still being fat, and I think still a touch of stomach flu hanging around.

Last night's dinner, while yummy, must've been too rich or too much lettuce or something... let's just say it made a hasty retreat and leave it at that.

On the plus side, I'm down a pound or so this morning-- not bad after an up day that included cheese, wine, and chocolate. (like I said-- maybe it was too rich for my delicate tummy).

Sigh.... anyway, NOT hungry yet today.

B: 40 cal for a probiotic yogurt drink
L: not a clue, maybe some toast if needed
D: um... chicken burgers? I think I have some flatout breads (90cal each), the burgers are 180 each, and some veggies.
cantaloupe mint soup for dessert.

Morning All!

I am colder than normal today so I might have to drink tea today. I wish I had hot chocolate that I had zero calories because that's what I really want right now.

L: Orange creme greek yogurt and grapes
D: Laughing cow cheese and crackers.

Of course plenty of fluids.

Lisa, a few DD hot chocolate ideas for you:

1) chocolate unsweet almond milk-- 1c is like 40cal or so... heat up as it, or thin it out a little bit with water.

2) chocolate davinci sf syrup, and whatever milk you choose.

3) find some chocolate flavor teas... a lot are made with cocoa nibs, which give good flavor without the calories. I like David's tea (can't link, b/c they sell stuff) and others like some from Republic of Tea... In NY, I'm sure you can find some great tea places to try.

Just coffee so far. No clue about the rest of the day. Maybe a salad with a protein tonight.

(Went grocery shopping and made zero impulse buys and had zero cravings while there. That pretty much rocks.)

I think it's Swiss Miss that has a diet hot chocolate for 25 calories, too.

Good call Dawn! I had to toss a bunch of kitchen stuff, including my sf hot chocolate mixes, as part of the kitchen renovation... will be on the lookout for replacements

Thanks ladies! I love regular swiss miss, but I absolutely hate the diet one. I'm allergic to notes, but that syrup idea sounds awesome. I ended up having oatmeal for lunch instead of the yogurt and grapes just so I could warm up.

Start Date: Sept. 2014
So my DD Tuesday went well until dinner time - I was starving!! I filled up on brussel sprouts, 1 fingerling potato, and 2 oz of chicken breast.


B - 2 egg whites, 3 slices canadian bacon, coffee, 1 tsp coconut coffee creamer total 56 cal

L- 1 oz smoked turkey, 1 c broccoli, 1 c cauliflower total 144 cal


S - tbls red. fat cream cheese 30 cal


D - total 220

Total for day 450; was supposed to be 409.

2nd GOAL - to weigh 215 by March 2015

3rd GOAL - to weigh 200 by June 2015


4th GOAL - to weigh 185 by 9/19/15 When I turn 55.

You did great, H82B That looks like a great menu for a DD, and having a few extra veggies isn't anything to worry about
