BAKERS...need advice re: BROWNIES

I have carbquick and it calls for baking chocolate...have you used or know if I can substitute cocoa powder instead ? If so, would you dilute first w/water ? Thanks for input.

Here ya go:

How to Use Cocoa as a Substitute for Unsweetened Baking Chocolate

Ingredients:
3 tbs. cocoa powder
1 tbs. butter, margarine, or vegetable oil

Steps: Combine 3 tablespoons cocoa powder with 1 tablespoon of butter, margarine or vegetable oil. This will make the equivalent of 1 ounce of unsweetened baking chocolate.

No need to dilute the cocoa as long as you add it to the powder part of the mixture. Then add in the oils or melted butter with the liquid ingredients.
