Hi. New to the forums. I just started the 100 plan on Monday. Today is Wednesday and i haven't even lost an ounce. Is that normal at the start? Other things i have tried i lost immediately.

Is that the new Jorge Cruise diet?

At any rate, it's too soon to be worrying about anything. If you think this is a workable plan for you, then you have to give it a chance to work.

Without knowing what the 100 plan is, I'd say you need way more time. Try to focus on how you feel as your diet changes instead.

If it's just way too tempting to weigh yourself every day, put the scale away for at least a few weeks. The scale is not always an accurate representation of what is going on anyhow. I don't own a scale. I go by how I am feeling, how my clothes fit, and try to notice the changes I am experiencing, whether it be how my skin looks, how my rings fit, or if I need more/less sleep, for example.

You can have up to 100 calories' worth of sugar in a day. They suggest you multiply the total grams of carbs by 4 to get that number, which would be around 25 grams of carbs. Atkins '72 induction allows a max of 20 grams/day, all from foundation veggies and salad, no nuts, sugars (even from fruit) etc. You have to find out what level of carbs your body needs to lose well. I do best and feel best staying under 20, but most of my favorite veggies are low-carb and I've recently discovered baby bok choy, which I love lightly sauteed in olive oil with some diced roma tomato and a chopped garlic clove.

I'm skeptical of any 'low carb' plan that still allows you sugar. What a waste of carbs, but whatever works, I guess.

I'm with the rest...too soon to worry about why you haven't lost. You might as well wrap your head around the fact that you will not lose every day or even every week. Concentrate on changing 'behaviors'. You can't control how slow/fast your body loses actual weight, but you can control the behavior changes needed to be successful in the long term.

With only 25 grams of total sugar carbs allowedIi'm sure there is not a lot of really sugary foods one could eat. That is if the OP is counting them correctly.

Give it time and if it doesn't work the plan is not for you...I say a month would be long enough to notice some loss...A lot of people here do Atkins or other low carb plans...just keep going until you find what works for you...for me it was Atkins...for you it could be your 100...just make sure you follow the plan to a tee and no cheating...don't assume you know what the plan is without reading the book as 100 could be turned into 100 grams of carbs for example if you misunderstand a synopsis...you can't blame a plan for failing if you don't buy the book and follow the directions.
