Hi new member with a question

Just joined the forum and hope to be able to learn as well as contribute to with questions and answers.

My big question for today is - can anyone tell me the true carb count for a glass of prosecco brut. I've read on some sites that it is 0.1 then I've read that it is 5 and then I've read that prosecco is definitely out as it is too sweet which I don't understand because it says Brut on the label.

Anyone know exactly.

Well, to be labeled "brut", it's legally required to have less than 12g residual sugars per liter. So, I would count 3g carbs per glass.

That seems in line with what I count. For 00-01 reds or Pinot, I count 4 carbs per 6oz.
