So proud of those "BIKERS"!

Just a hold on my place in line.
HOT and HOTTER today- hating it a lot but glad that is my only complaint this morning.

It is cooler outside than in this morning...I'm sure that will change later today, though.

Going to send my laptop to my computer guru for a little maintenance...a/k/a DD...will be back, though.

I watched the first episode of The Last Tango in Halifax last night. It was no As Time Goes By but cute. I'll see how it progresses.

Hope you all have a great day.

Never forget!

Good morning all...really enjoying the early morning coolth, only 60 degrees at 8 am....love it!!! O'course, it;s going back up but it's good while we have it. Still kickin' back on the woe and not worrying about it now; soon I'll start the effort to lose the last 40 pounds but am enjoying this new, lighter me at this plateau.

Sending hugs to all and good vibes as well...may go over to the national cemetery as part of my reflection today. Definitely adding a trip to NYC as part of my lavender list.

Thank you Doris for our start out.

This was Dh's morning breakfast with his friends so I had fun watching some Pioneer Women that I had recorded. I now want to make pot roast for dinner. .

Dd is coming over to pick through our garage for kitchen supplies for her little studio that she just moved into. i told her to come over and shop. It will be nice to see her as it's been awhile.

Then it's off to the market for us. I'm thinking a roast is in order.

Begete how did your leave stones turn out? I bet that was a fun project.

Susan it's fun to use the attachment. Hey if I can do it you can too. .

We've been walking pretty regular with the fur kids. I bought a leash that attaches them both to it with a swivel attachment. It works great. I feel like a turtle trying to win a race when they pull me along. Just what I need to get my legs moving.

I love this saying. Makes me smile. Have a fun day!

TOO hot to shop, garden or anything so hanging out inside. Should go to the senior center as it was icy cold with A/C. Too lazy to even drive there. One more day and a really super cool down for So. Norfolk, Va. Yipeeee! I'll catch everythin up then.

AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good news - Bad news ----well, actually not so bad news.

One biopsy came back positive for skin cancer but it's early enough we don't have to do an aggressive treatment...what they call a "scrape and burn." Don't you love some of these high-tech medical terms. So I've got to wait for a couple of weeks to get it taken care of....Could have been much worse.

Went to the gardening center for a hedge trimmer...got tired of the lumpy look the clippers have been doing. It was okay as long as I kept it trimmed, but I've let it go and let someone else clip it that didn't know what she was doing, so it looks like someone's nightmare...not the good kind but bumpy & lumpy.

They don't make the cartridge for my weed eater, so I've gotta take it over to see if someone can help me...so that's hanging fire....but....I got some lovely cushions for the patio chairs and big, beautiful plants; mums red and yellow, Angelonia, a lovely lavender colored plant, and Mexican heather.....time to clean a couple of pots on the patio and add some color. Getting ready for the coming cooler weather and anticipating the change.

So, now I'm hoping everyone else's results come back good and sending hugs to those who need 'em or want 'em....
