is it safe to begin the following vitamin regimen IF

i am taking blood glucose and blood pressure meds...and hypothyroid (levithyroxine): the micronutrients to which i refer are a multvitamin, chromium piccolinate, bcomplex &c, and b12 (time release) for energy enhancement. I await your wisdom. Love & Profits: FLATFERENGHI

You need to ask your doctor or, at the least your pharmacist, about the interactions and other possible problems

I second the recommendation to check with your pharmacist.

Be sure to check those multivitamins because any calcium or iron (and usually both are in multis) need to be at least 4 hours away from your thyroid pills.

And the chromium picolinate (though I like chromium polynicotinate or GTF chromium better) will probably lower your blood sugar levels, so it will be important to monitor that pretty carefully. Because hypoglycemia is bad.

somehow i thought that would be the response.

although i know about the polynicotinate, i have never, seen it any health food store. Thanks for the feedback. I will review the vitamins the Dr. However, I DID take it upon myself to begin the omega 3 fish capsules, because i refuse to take statins. FF

Agree! Statins are the most overused drug with the least effect EVER! As far as I know, the only time they have proven to be useful and worth taking is after a person has a cardiac or stroke event. Not to mention the side effects. Good choice.
