Mix the protein powder with a little almond milk first to get a better texture or else it can be clumpy or grainy, if you mix it straight into the yogurt

Awesome - thanks Dottie! I was going to use Syntrax Roadside Lemonade and usually that mixes into water pretty well (just need to stir with a spoon - doesn't require the blender like some of them do) but have never tried combining yogurt and PP before. That's a lot of protein in one shot though, I might split it up into 2 snack periods.

I used to eat a PP microwave "cookie" back in the day when I was more into bodybuilding type diets. Can't recall the recipe for it though so will have to do some googling. Although it wasn't very good...

Update - about 1/2 a scoop of the PP was a nice, mild lemon flavour. Mixed like a dream with the almond milk. I might try freezing some of these into a yogurt pop for hot weather!

Thanks again!

Changing my menu - I found a Healthy Choice beef teriyaki steamer in the freezer and I just LOVE that meal !! So 300 calories for that, the PP/yogurt combo of 200 and a salad and some raw veggies today. And a dash of almond milk and splenda in the coffee.

DS12 is making buffalo chicken wings for lunch. Must. Be. Strong. Shouldn't be that hard since I had 1/2 a dozen for supper last night.

2 whole wings (or 4 pieces) baked is only 200 calories
If you really are hungry for fat on a DD, it's a good option

I think I was hungry for buffalo. I like a lot of spice and yogurt just doesn't cut it. Now I'm thinking I might go buy some chicken breasts and slather some Frank's hot sauce on it and make my own buffalo chicken! Or could just be lazy and add some realemon to the yogurt to jazz it up a bit and do the buffalo chicken breast next DD. I prefer the white meat jazzed up anyway - you get more volume to eat!
