Getting the kids on board, and excited
So recently hubby and I have decided to take the plunge and introduce our 2 children (daughter who is 7 and son who is 2.5) into eating more of a paleo/primal diet.
I already ordered eat like a dinosaur for my daughter. But can anyone suggest any sites, books etc that would be good for a kid to excite them into this way of life?
My daughter is going to be more hard. My son (the little one) is happy with a slab of meat and a tomato and cucumber.
Also any suggestions on how to keep their calorie consumption high? They do not need to lose weight, and they are VERY VERY active!
Low carb isnt just my life style, its my hobby

Well there is a little book called Paleo Kids: Jimmy and the Carrot Rocket Ship. I've not read it, but it looks cute. And congrats btw! Kewl move to get them interested in real food at a young age!
As for calories, how about trail mixes, nut butters, sweet potatoes. Anything with good fats that they will eat will provide energy. Bet you will get some good ideas in Eat Like A Dinosaur. There is also another cookbook with recipes for kids called The Paleo Kid. Only 26 recipes, but it is well reviewed.
Good luck!!! Very exciting!
