What is 20 carbs in vegetables a day

I am yet again trying to improve my health and get off insulin. My problem is I am the type of person that need structure. So, what is 20 carbs in vegetables a day. Is it two cups of vegetables? Thanks

Depends on the vegetable. You might try using one of the food logs on the internet to get an idea.

"Eat no more than 20 grams a day of Net Carbs, 12 to 15 grams of them as foundation vegetables. This means you can eat approximately six loosely packed cups of salad and two cups of cooked vegetables per day. Remember, carb counts of various vegetables vary, so be sure to check them."

You really have to look up each individual vegetable because they're all different.
See what the serving size is and how many carbs that serving is.

I had a terrible time trying to determine what each veggie serving size was and the actual carb count. The only way I felt I had it accurate was to get a scale that weighed in both ounces and grams. Then I looked up each veggie online and found what the total carb and total fiber count was by weight.

I don't know about you but I don't know what 1 cup of salad looks like but I can weigh out 60 grams of salad mix and know I have it right.
