Acesulflame K?

There is some Pepsi Max One sweetened with Splenda which I would love to start drinking.

But I looked at the last ingredient and it said acesulflame potassium.

What is this stuff? And is it bad? Will it stall weight loss?

Artificial sweetener 200x sweeter than sugar, 0 cal. I guess we excrete it out unchanged very quickly. I drink Pepsi max here and there and I don't think it's stalled me.

Ace-k isn't a problem on induction. Some people don't tolerate it well, but that's a pretty small percentage.

My low carb dr advises against it, says it causes insulin reaction. I guess it depends on how your body uses insulin...

Sahm to 4 kiddos, wife to a lc hubby
