Almond milk

Okay, how does one count this? Does it count as a fat? does it count in your daily calories? How does this work?

I actually asked about this on Friday (am re-starting the program!) as I'm using the unsweetened vanilla almond milk with my EAS protein shake mix in the morning for breakfast. I was told not to count the milk in with the daily protein calories, but log in the "additional items consumed' section.
