How much weight did you lose in 35 days?

I leave in vacation in 35 days and I plan to be very diligent with this until I leave. Today is my first down day and I plan on weighing in next Thursday. I am doing three DD (Mon, Wed, Fri) and three UP (Tues, Thurs, Sat) and then one moderate day (Sunday).

Anyone else use this plan and how much did you lose? I know we are not all created equal so my personal stats may be much different, but I would be THRILLED if I can get 10 pounds off me in those 35 days.

I am probably not typical but I lost nothing the first two weeks and then lost at around 1 pound per week. JUDDD is not known to be a fast weight loss system but slow and steady wins the race. If you want instant loss then Stillman's can't be beat for that. I just can't do Stillman's forever but for a short period of time it is very doable.

It's totally apples and oranges, as I was obese when I started. I just looked over my spreadsheet, and I started 12/12/11 at 267.8 and on 1/16/12 I was 252.2 for a loss of 15.6 pounds. I also did strict EOD rotations, not a set schedule.

I lost 11 pounds my first 35 days, but like Dawn I was heavier than you. I went from 264 to 253. I also had been on Atkins the prior 7 months and had already lost almost 55 pounds. I don't think you can really compare.

You're so close to your goal that I would anticipate it coming off slower, no matter what plan you use.

This time around I managed about 15lbs - I am very heavy - however, that included a vacation & several UD in a row; first time round I lost around the same and that was with Christmas & New Year.

I lost just under 9 pounds in my first 35 days, but I started at 262, threw a vacation in there, and had already lost my first 11 pounds doing something else. It's so hard to predict with all the variables! I have seen some people who are lighter lose fairly well in the beginning especially if they have not been losing on another plan first, it varies so much. I agree that this is not what I would consider an ultra-quick weight loss method, but it is definitely, for me, one of the easiest to follow long term.

I went down 11.5 pounds in the first 35 days, from 202.0 -190.5. This is from about 50 pounds total that I need to lose.

I lost about 11 pounds in my first 35 days, but like others said I was obese. I had also already lost 10 pounds on low carb/ low cal. I did very strict eod rotations with no cheats and very low DDs. That being said I didn't really lose more slowly as I got closer to goal, but definitely lost slower on 4:3. For me the difference was 11-8 pounds per month w/ eod and 3 pounds with 4:3.

Mommy, from your starting weight, I think it would be better to focus on keeping to your UD and DD allowances and let JUDDD do its thing in its own time. The scales are usually the last to record our progress and it's so easy to get demotivated when they don't perform as anticipated.

Some people do experience fast losses at first, usually from water loss. However, it's best to think of JUDDD as a long-term project because most of us lose quite slowly. Just look at the number of JUDDD Budds who have lost loads of weight and are still comfortably and easily keeping it off. That's the magic of JUDDD.

As Adi points out, if you need a quick fix, another plan might suit you better. But remember that weight lost quickly tends to return - with friends - once normal eating is resumed.

Do have a good read around the forum. There's lots of advice and shared experience here and the JBs are wonderfully supportive. I wish you every success.

I'm also doing a LC version of JUDDD...the 500 cal days are very LC and the UDs are 1650 ish w 20-30 g carbs...I'm liking it very much so far But you can eat any food that you want on JUDDD, you don't have to do LC...that's just what I'm doing

Down 9.4 pounds in 27 days...YES! Love this WOE!

Kim

I lost 15lb in 35 days (5 weeks) with strict EOD rotations - although I didn't count calories on UD as I was in Greece and so going out most UD. I did however, completely fast on my DD's.
