3 months on JUDD

Just wanted to share. I know it's not a year, but it's the longest I have been able to stay on a diet in YEARS. No "cheat" days or binges. I just love Judd soooo much. 3 months??? And it's flown by! I am not obsessed with my body (as I would be if I was depriving myself) and every imperfection, and I am happy with my results thus far. I do want to lose more, but I am ok with where I am at right now.

My mom just finished her 5th week on Judd and is feeling the effects. She has lost weight and also thinks Judd is "just so easy."

Still haven't gotten my DH on it, but trying... just because it is so easy and he keeps saying he wants to lose weight! This is something I really truly know I can do forever... FINALLY!

That is wonderful! I can't wait until I'm at the 3 month or even 5 week mark! Keep up the great work!

LC-Chica, I'm so pleased for you. For you, for your mother and for your respective mind-sets about JUDDD.

It's odd and rather reassuring to see how many JUDDDers feel that they discovered something that they can live with for long periods of time or at least until further notice.

I hope DH eventually joins you.

Big pats on the back and to you and your mother. KUTGW

Yay you!!!!!!!!! I am so happy for you!!!!!!!!! It really is a wonderful feeling finding a way to lose weight and not resent every minute you "HAVE" to do it.

Wonderful! Congratulations on this landmark!

How cool that your mom has joined you. Mine is 5 months in and stated the other day that when she calls goal she may go 5:2 but doesn't want to give up IF altogether because it's so do-able and feels so good. Isn't this WOE amazing?

First three months ... before you know it, a year ... I agree, this is such an easy plan to stick to compared to anything else I've ever tried. The livability, as Dawn said, is huge. It's no fun to lose weight, only to gain it back. It has to be something that you can keep up ... and saying, "I can eat that when I get to goal" sets you up for regain. With JUDDD, you can have it *now* ... as long as it's an up day. If not, you can have it tomorrow.

KUTGW! 3 months is a big milestone. It's a quarter of a year and shows you that this is not just doable, but effective and sustainable.

And I love being able to say, 'may I take a piece for tomorrow' rather than 'I can't have that!'

Congrats on your milestone. 3 months is a big deal considering most people don't stick to anything for even 3 weeks! Imagine where you'll be in another 3 months, and another, then at the one year mark. It's exciting stuff. Keep going!
