Lost 10 lbs on induction, went on vacay & slowly added carbs last two days Today: Pizza, ice cream & fudge. I can't believe all this... after working so hard the last month!

Just jump right back on plan. You might experience induction flu even after a couple of days. Make sure to drink plenty of fluids/broth and eat enough salt if that happens.

You have to reach inside you and ask yourself what you do want now that the vacation is over. But like Mistizoom says, if you decide to jump in the wagon again, just do it and forget about the vacation.

I fell off plan, but it took me almost a week to pull myself back together. It happens. I did not beat myself up over it. I did it, I learned my lesson. I now can confirm that I am a total crazy person when I eat sugar. So, if I want to stay married and have any friends, I stay on plan.

Sometimes getting out of a routine can cause us to stray. Your vacation may have done this to you...you need to have a routine for down time so you can try and stick to it. Sometimes the word vacation also implies a vacation from everything including the way we eat because we want to enjoy that time the way we used to. Well, we have found this doess't work so get right back on plan so you can spend the rest of your vacation feeling great, thinner and not guilty for letting your self get lax with your woe. You can do this...stay in control of you and what goes in your face...sometimes it is the only thing we can control...the world is a crazy place.

I'm with Suzanne .... I don't feel good when I fall off plan... Making this a lifestyle means making smart choices even while on vacation. I enjoy vacations more when I feel good and have lots of energy. Vacation does not have to mean feeding frenzy!

I have to echo the others who said eating off plan makes them feel awful. I've had SMALL planned splurges here and there, and I have to say, as tasty as they may have been the second they hit my lips, the way I felt after was NOT worth the splurge. Knowing that helps keep me from making bad choices.

But, every day is a new day, and a new chance to start over!
